Location

La Rivoire is located in the Rhone Alps Region, south of the Loire department and next to the Ardeche. The nearest small town is Annonay famous for Hot air ballons. To the west of the RN 82 is the col du grand bois and St Etienne 35 km away, and on the east the Rhone Valley and its famous vineyards along the river leading to Lyon to the north or Valence to the south, each 60 km away. La Rivoire is situated in the heart of the Pilat Regional Natural ParK. The towns of Saint Etienne (Loire), Vienne (Isère) and Annonay (Ardèche) are all within a short drive of the park.

Direction BY ROAD:
From Saint Etienne (35km):
Follow RN82 direction Annonay, Valence. 5 km after Bourg Argental turn left on small road going up, it is at 500 metres.
From the Rhone Valley (25km): Exit motorway N° 12 Chanas, follow Annonay direction, then St Etienne by RN82, Do not go through Annonay. 3 km after St Marcel les Annonay turn right on small road going up, it is at 500 metres.

BY TRAIN:
Train stations at St Etienne Chateaucreux (40 km), Lyon Part Dieu (70 km) serving the London/Lyon via Lille with Eurostar then TGV, Lyon Perrache (65 km) and Valence (65 km). The nearest station is St Rambert d’Albon (25 km) by regular links either from Valence or Lyon Perrache.
